Main Playground

The biggest Playground in the park is located on the north side of the Park Lake, on a big sandy surface, and has many slides (up to 5m tall). The structure was built according to the Israeli Standard for Playground Safety and Evaluation Methods.

The Playground is located on the north side of the Park Lake, near a new WC structure. All 5 play areas were built according to the Israeli Standard for Playground Safety and Evaluation Methods.

Playground 3

The Playground is located on the north side of the Park Lake, within a Picnic area. All 5 play areas were built according to the Israeli Standard for Playground Safety and Evaluation Method.

Playground 4

The tarp shaded Playground is located on the east side of the Park Lake, at the main entrance to the park on Biranit St., and has 4 play areas upon a rubber surface. All structures were built according to the Israeli Standard for Playground Safety and Evaluation Method.

Southern Outdoor Gym Complex

An extensive selection of creatively designed exercise machines, built to utilize the user’s weight as the resisting force for a balanced exercise, without the need for any adjustments. Southern Sportech Sports Complex

At the southern Sportech sports complex, you can find all sorts of sports recreational facilities, which you can book at your leisure: Handball, Basketball, Tennis and Futsal courts, a Soccer field and Ping-Pong tables. Petting Zoo

Our Petting Zoo is home to many different adorable animals, such as Peacocks, Raccoons, Geese, Ferrets, Guinea Fowls and more! The Zoo is located on the south-eastern side of the park, close to the Park Lake.

BBQ Area – Menachem Begin Park

Menachem Begin Park would like to invite you to enjoy a family Picnic in one of the 4 different Picnic areas spread around the park. The Picnic area you’ll find drinking fountain, Picnic table, and waste disposal facilities.

Southern BBQ Area

An easily accessible Picnic area with Picnic tables, in close proximity to the Petting Zoo, the bathrooms, right next to the Park Lake.

Eastern BBQ Area

Just behind the cable water ski lake, on both the east and west banks, is another wonderful Picnic spot between two olive trees. Victims of Acts of Terror Memorial Garden

A memorial created in 2006 by Ganei Yehoshua park, to commemorate the 750 residents of Tel Aviv who fell victim to acts of terror which occurred in 1860. Located close to the IDF Soldiers’ memorial.

Rose’s Garden

Rose’s garden, is a Playground that was created as a peaceful memorial for Rose Pizam; a 4.5-year-old girl whose murder shocked the Israeli public, after her body was found in the Yarkon river in 2008.

Tribute to Detsinger

Donated by Discount Bank in cooperation with the Yehoshua Rabinowitz Art Fund, Tel Aviv in 1993.

Pendulum Statue

Curves Statue

Created and donated by the artist Yitschak Detsinger in 1974-1975. Material: Painted Concrete. Courtesy of the Yehoshua Rabinowitz art fund, Tel Aviv. The statue is an abstract piece, meant to cast a constantly changing shade due to its curved shape.

Shachar Memorial

Created and donated by the artist Yigal Tamarkin in 1996 as a memorial for Shachar Ginosar. Additional contributors: Naor Tsion, Eli Yatspan, Meir Swisa, Yaakov Cohen, Yehuda Shteig and sons, Fiat-Lancia-Alpha Romeo Israel and Tuval Transportation company.

St.Peter’s Church – The Russian Orthodox Church

Saint Peter’s Church was completed in 1894 and took 6 years to construct. It was built next to an enchant tomb, which was uncovered in 1835 and was believed to have belonged to Saint Tabitha. Address: 151-155 Herzl St. Tel Aviv.

“10 Mills” Archeological Site

10 Mills is the biggest of all the mill sites found around the Yarkon river, with structural remains standing up to 3m tall. The site was uncovered in 1993 after having been completely covered by vegetation and drift sediments.
