Connecting to nature in the city

A seminar that includes professional lectures on urban nature in the city and an experiential tour of Tel Napoleon, the new winter pool, the birdwatching park, and more. Here’s the program:
3:30 pm: Meeting at the birdwatching park with the ecologist of the park, Mr. Liav Shalem. From there we depart to a tour of Tel Napoleon and get an explanation about ecological sheep grazing in the Park. We visit the new winter pool of the recently renovated Rosh Tzipor Birdwatching Center.

5:00-7:00 pm: Return to the birdwatching center for some bird watching and lectures on subjects such as urban nature in the city, urban nature rehabilitation, nature-fostering landscaping, innovative projects to channel streams, integrated in the preservation of nature.

Lectures will be given by Liav Shalem, the ecologist of the park, Michal Nahari, agronomist at the urban beautification (“shefa”) department, Eitan Ben Ami, director of the Department of the Environment, Oved Kune, director of Gane Yehoshu’a.
