During the annual planting event, visitors will sow wildflowers and plant bulbs of plants characteristic of the Tel Aviv region, such as lupine, poppy, catchfly, chamomile, daffodil and drimia.
The event will be with an explanation on urban nature restoration in general and on restoring the botanical garden in particular, offered by Park ecologist Liav Shalem. We will then head out to the nearby planting site.
You are welcome to bring towels and other gardening tools, and get a feel for the soil.
* You are kindly requested to show up with closed-toe shoes, hats and drinking water.
* We recommend that you bring a bucket and a hand trowel.
