Join a tour with Assaf the Shepherd and his herd of sheep at the Tel Napoleon (Napoleon’s Hill) nature site.
We’ll see how Assaf manages the herd through the urban environment with the help of his skilled shepherd dogs. Shepherding helps restore wild flora. The herd feeds on the local vegetation, exposing the area to more sunlight, which in turn encourages more wild plant varieties to grow and prosper.
This remarkable urban experience has been documented by a special BBC crew.
The tour is conducted in partnership with the Talmei Aviv school.
