As part of our membership at the International Urban Parks Association, we presented our work at the Association’s annual conference which took place in Melbourne, Australia, and welcomed participants from nearly fifty countries worldwide.

The conference focused on urban parks. Conference organizers form part of the world’s leading organization in its field – World Urban Park.

We were happy to discover that urban nature is taking center stage in many cities and that we are among the world’s leading cities worldwide in this area.

Park ecologist Liav Shalem presented the variety of activities which we carry out in order to conserve and restore the Park’s natural environment, and received conference attendants’ compliments. Many approached him for information, not only on our activities for nature restoration but also on how we engage with the community and collaborate with locals on various activities, such as planting, sowing, observation tours focusing on animals and their natural environment, etc.
