Dear Residents and Park Visitors,
Integrating nature as an inseparable part of the urban environment lies at the heart of our work and is a fundamental part of our vision. The importance of green spaces and open areas located at the heart of the city lies not only in the refreshing connection they create between residents and nature, but also in their ability to foster vibrant community life and provide a wide range of activities that bring people together.
This mission takes on even greater significance during challenging times, such as the security situation we have all experienced throughout the recent years of war. During this period, the need for comforting, uplifting activities close to home became more important than ever.
Throughout 2026, we continued to place a strong emphasis on sustainability and environmental values, ecological enrichment, and the preservation of natural habitats throughout our parks. We expanded our partnerships with community organizations, companies, and corporations in order to make the parks, gardens, and the many activities held within them accessible to the widest and most diverse audiences possible.
Special attention was also devoted to educating future generations, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and strengthening their connection with nature through tours and educational activities for kindergartens and schools at Ganei Yehoshua Park, Menachem Begin Park, and the Nature Gardens.
We continuously strive to ensure that our parks, which span approximately 5,000 dunams, are welcoming, well maintained, safe, well lit, accessible to people of all abilities and backgrounds, and managed using advanced technologies and modern systems.
We invite you to become part of our community of park visitors, take part in our sports, cultural, and recreational activities, and share your ideas for new collaborations. We are always happy to listen, explore new opportunities, and welcome you as part of the Ganei Yehoshua community.
Wishing you a happy, stable, and safe year ahead,
Anat Pilzer-Somakh
Chair of the Board of Directors
