As part of the effort to rehabilitate different growing habitats in the Birding Park, with the approval of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority and in cooperation with the Yarkon River Authority local fish species were relocated from the Yarkon River to the Lake at the new Birding park.
The project was funded by the Ganey Yehosha park.
Among the species that have been relocated is the Yarkon-bream, which is a rare species whose growing habitat has been successfully restored in recent years, enabling the species to return to the Yarkon River. We hope the species will flourish in its new home in the Birding Park.
